Land Acknowledgement

Ontario Lavender Collective acknowledges that we operate on the traditional territories of many Indigenous nations across Southern Ontario, including the Anishinaabeg, the Haudenosaunee, the Huron-Wendat, the Mississaugas of the Credit, and the Neutral Nation peoples.

Much of Southern Ontario is covered by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant — a treaty between the Haudenosaunee Confederacy and the Anishinaabeg and allied nations to share and care for the lands and waters of the Great Lakes region.

We are grateful to live, grow, and work on this land. We honour the Indigenous stewards of this territory and commit to ongoing learning and meaningful support of Indigenous communities — past, present, and future.
